The keynote speech at the conference focused on industry trends and technological breakthroughs, with its content being both forward-looking and practical, providing a clear direction for the development of the industry.
Digital Insights and Industry Trends: Lai Xiaoyun, the president of the Pet Medicine Branch of the China Veterinary Association, pointed out based on big data analysis that the scale of China's pet industry has reached 310 billion yuan, among which the pet medical market is approximately 80.3 billion yuan. The huge market potential provides a solid foundation for the continuous innovation and upgrading of the industry.
Clinical diagnosis and health intervention upgrade: Li Yong from the China Health Promotion Foundation provided an in-depth analysis on pet intestinal health management. He emphasized that intestinal health is the foundation of pet health and is closely related to immunity, mood, and sleep.
This trend aligns perfectly with CTC·CHINA's long-term strategy in the field of plant-based functional raw materials. The company provides crucial support for pet intestinal health management and the development of functional formulated foods through high-quality dietary fibers (such as apple fiber, orange fiber, etc.) and hypoallergenic plant proteins (such as rice protein, etc.).
In addition, Professor Wang Zhihong from the First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University shared the application trends of dynamic glucose monitoring (CGM) technology in pet medicine. Associate Professor Xie Zhen from Tsinghua University introduced the progress in circular RNA drug research, bringing a new direction for precise treatment of pet diseases.

By improving the talent training system and resource integration mechanism, the transformation of scientific research achievements into the industrial sector will be accelerated.
Full-chain innovation and value upgrading: The forum focused on discussing the breakthroughs in domestic pharmaceuticals and medical devices and the direction of industrial upgrading. It has become an industry consensus to extend from basic manufacturing to high value-added fields.
