Notice on Convening the 12th (2015) China Sheep Industry Development Conference

Since 2014, the impact of drought and epidemic situation in some regions of China has led to the centralized marketing of mutton sheep, and the decline in consumption level caused by the impact of imported mutton and the increasing downward pressure on the national economy has led to the decline in the price of sheep products in China. Meat sheep and breeding sheep are unsalable. The profit margin of the sheep industry has suffered from the double squeeze of lower income and higher cost, which has brought new problems and challenges to the development of the sheep industry in China. In order to further study and solve the problems encountered in the development of the industry, explore the future development of the industry, build a communication platform between industrial chains, strengthen the in-depth cooperation between industry, university and research, focus on improving the production level of the sheep industry, accelerate the transformation and upgrading of the industry, and achieve the healthy and sustainable development of China's sheep industry. China Animal Husbandry Association is scheduled to hold the 12th (2015) China Sheep Industry Development Conference in Linqing, Shandong Province from September 21 to 23, 2015.
