2014 China Grassland Alfalfa International Forum Opens

On August 9, the "2014 China Grass Capital Alfalfa International Forum" was opened at the Mengcao Alfalfa Base in Shaogen Town, Arhorqin Banner, Chifeng City. The opening ceremony of the forum was presided over by Lu Xinshi, President of Grass Industry Branch of China Animal Husbandry Association. The forum gathered practitioners related to the alfalfa industry chain at home and abroad and domestic ranch users to conduct in-depth discussions on the planting and processing of domestic alfalfa grass and its use in the ranch. The forum integrated technical reports, discussion and exchanges, base visits, field harvesting, baling demonstration, and grass culture, and demonstrated the development of high-quality forage industry in Arukorqin Banner, the "grass capital of China".
