Natural Pasture, China Tastes, Good Grass for Good Cattle and Sheep" and the Natural Grass Development Forum of China's First Coarse Forage Conference
On April 8, 2015,
the 2015 China Coarse Feed Supply and Demand Conference hosted by Holstein
officially opened at Xiedao, Beijing. About 200 representatives from ranches
all over the country participated in this meeting. CTC was also invited.
Natural grasses are
China's largest resource. When alfalfa and oat grass are not available, natural
grasses have always been the preferred source of roughage for Chinese pastures,
including Leymus chinensis. In recent years, there have been many
misunderstandings in the use and production of natural grass. There are
different opinions on the topic of natural grass, and some opinions are
shocking. Some people say that natural grass is not safe. Unfortunately, for
many years, there has never been a special study of natural grass. In response
to some misunderstandings and blind spots in the understanding of natural
grasses, the China Natural Grass Development Forum became the first forum of
the first China Rough Feed Conference. This forum was hosted by Jia Yushan, a
professor at Inner Mongolia Agricultural University.
