Cassava, as a cost-effective energy source, has a much higher viscosity than cornmeal and a lower puffing temperature. Therefore, in the production of pelleted feed and puffed materials, it can reduce the pulverization rate of pelleted feed, increase its hardness, and improve the puffing degree of puffed materials. Tapioca flour is a natural, gluten-free, multi-functional powder made from processed and ground cassava roots. Compared to Tapioca fiber flour, it contains more starch. This product can be directly added to formulations, reducing equipment energy consumption.
